The Gladwyn is ideally situated for a variety of local attractions including parks, gardens, museums, art galleries and the beach with its sweeping sea front and 3-tier promenade. On Foot: From the seafront, proceed down Lascelles Terrace (next to the TGWU building) past the Devonshire Park Theatre into Hardwick Road, then left into Blackwater Road, where the hotel is situated on the right-hand side, opposite the International Lawn Tennis Centre. From the Tourist Information Centre, proceed along Cornfield Road into Cornfield Terrace and take the 1st turning right into Blackwater Road where the hotel is situated on the right-hand side opposite the International Lawn Tennis Centre. From the railway station, proceed up Gildredge Road and left into South Street. Then turn immediately right into Spencer Street and left into Blackwater Road, where the hotel is situated on the left-hand side opposite the International Lawn Tennis Centre.
