This charming traditional Lakeland house offers comfortable accommodation in a great location, in the centre of the village of Windermere, in the heart of the beautiful Lake District. The superb location makes Lingmoor Guest Accommodation a great base from which to explore the stunning natural beauty and breathtaking scenery of the Lake District, which so inspired Wordsworth, Wainwright and Beatrix Potter. Windermere’s train and coach station is just a 3-minute walk away and all of the town’s pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance. This family-run house was built in 1854, by and for the local railway, which arrived in Windermere at that time. Today, the house still retains its beautiful original exterior, its slate roof and several other lovely period features. There are 5 comfortable, modern en suite rooms with showers, each of which is well-equipped with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities.

Lingmoor Guest Accommodation aims to offer a comfortable, hospitable stay, at an affordable price, in a family-run house. With just 5 rooms, guests can benefit from attentive, personalised service. Accommodation is available throughout the year. The town of Windermere provides excellent bars, restaurants and local shops and a 20-minute walk will bring you to the lake, where boats can be hired or a lake cruise taken, giving you time to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Guests can load and unload right outside the front door and parking is available for guests’ use at an additional cost, just 2 minutes’ walk away. Complimentary leisure facilities are available at the nearby Windermere Manor and discount vouchers for some of the local golf courses are available for guests.

Note

Child Policy: Lingmoor Guest Accommodation is not suitable for children younger than 5 years of age. Well-behaved children aged 5 years or older are welcome.

A full cooked English breakfast is included in the room rate and is available from 08:30 to 09:30 every day, in the dining room. The generous breakfast is a great way to start your day, whatever you have planned.
